Extended wavelength and maximum sound are what you get with this subwoofer enclosure. Ported boxes are more efficient than a sealed enclosure, since they channel sound waves from the rear as well as the front of the cone into the listening environment. Other virtues of the vented design include better reproduction of low bass, a reasonably flat response curve, and low distortion – provided the box is properly constructed. All AudioFire Subwoofer Boxes are routed with CNC technology and armor coated with high pressure catalyzed polyurethane to hold up under intense vibrations and ensure a completely sealed environment.
