When you want to make your own subwoofer box  you'll need a couple of subs and I'm not talking Quiznos.   If you're building a ported box you'll only need one sub and the faster you get the car audio thing going the faster you'll be in the business of grooving to the bass.  You may want to eat your soup and salad in the car cause its gonna sound soooo good!
