Ported Subwoofer Box Plans

Attention "Do It Yourselfers"!
All AudioFire Subwoofer Box Kits are routed with CNC technology
and are predrilled to make it super easy to build.
Ten minutes and a screwdriver (screw gun works best)
and you have a box ready to be finished in
vinyl, carpet, paint or polyethelene.
This box holds two 8 '' or 10 '' round or square subwoofers.
Speaker cup terminal included.

How to build a subwoofer box in 10 minutes is a question easily answered with this new custom designed speaker box by AudioFire  delivering the muscle tightening bass that will shake your brain as well as your mirrors.  The down-fire ported design gives 1 8" or 1 10'' speaker the matching power of 2 8" or 2 10''s  for the optimum low bass response.
Most people spend most of their music listening time in their trucks or cars.  As you know
the sound (especially bass) is less than optimal.  Adding a subwoofer is the single most significant way a system can be improved.  The sub takes the bass load off the factory speakers giving them a cleaner, clearer and louder sound.
There are speaker enclosures for under seat and behind the seat applications but part of
the sound is distorted by the seat itself.  These new sub woofer box plans allows you to assemble a custom subwoofer box in about 10 minutes.  If you have had any plans to design a speaker box but put it off because you didn't want to go through all the hassle and gas just to buy the parts and then have to design and measure and cut the wood ... its now easy.

Ported Downfire Rear Console Subwoofer Enclosure

Kit includes 9 pieces
of 5/8'' MDF (medium density fiberboard) precision cut using
state of the art  CNC router technology ensuring  perfect fits every time.  Screws and 2'' converter cup included.
How to build a custom console box starts with front door delivery.  Now here's what you do ... Screw "side B" into edge of "top B" using the first 3 pre-drilled holes in the front.
Use enough torque to counter sink screws.
Easy with a screw gun ... hard by hand.
Board is aligned with edge of side piece but not with pre-drilled holes (at this point) and doesn't come all the way back to the end. Lift "top B" up to center of last hole and insert screw.  The rest of the holes will now be aligned. Finish inserting screws.
"top B" piece will have a slight bow. Attach "side A" in the same manner. The first 3 then the last then fill in the rest.
Position "front" piece
in between side pieces and flush with underside of    "top B".  Front piece does not go all the way at the bottom.
Attach with screws using pre-drilled holes  Position piece "C" in between side pieces as shown.
Attach with screws in pre-drilled holes. Both sides. Position piece "E" in between sides and on top of piece "C".  Attach with screws.  Both sides.
Position piece "D" on top of piece "E" and inside of the "front" piece Position piece "F" flush with edges of sides and piece "C"
Attach with screws
On 3 edges Should look like this. Align "top A"
Attach with screws. Ready for paint, carpet, spray on polyethelene or just raw.
(Opening will be square if specified)
