How to build a custom console box starts with front door delivery. Now here's what you do ... |
Screw "side B" into edge of "top B" using the first 3 pre-drilled holes in the front. Use enough torque to counter sink screws. Easy with a screw gun ... hard by hand. |
| Board is aligned with edge of side piece but not with pre-drilled holes (at this point) and doesn't come all the way back to the end. |
Lift "top B" up to center of last hole and insert screw. The rest of the holes will now be aligned. |
Finish inserting screws. |
| "top B" piece will have a slight bow. |
Attach "side A" in the same manner. |
The first 3 then the last then fill in the rest. |
Position "front" piece in between side pieces and flush with underside of "top B". Front piece does not go all the way at the bottom. |
Attach with screws using pre-drilled holes |
Position piece "C" in between side pieces as shown. |
| Attach with screws in pre-drilled holes. |
Both sides. |
Position piece "E" in between sides and on top of piece "C". Attach with screws. Both sides. |
| Position piece "D" on top of piece "E" |
and inside of the "front" piece |
Position piece "F" flush with edges of sides and piece "C" Attach with screws |
